- Second Nature, USC’s cutting-edge improv comedy troupe, performs an hour of improvised comedy at 11pm every Friday at the Ground Zero Performance Cafe on USC’s campus. We also perform in Los Angeles and around the United States with other professional and college troupes.
- Our typical show consists of two 25-30 minute long forms. Typically we perform Harolds, Armandos, or Deconstructions. Once a month, Second Nature also has a special format show that incorporates a special format and/or guest performer. Past special formats include Your Drunken Night (as told by William Shakespeare), The YouTube Show, The Bat, and The Facebook Show. Past special guests include Kate Flannery (The Office ), Tom Lennon (Reno 911! ), Lauren Weedman (The Daily Show ), Dan Oster (MADtv ), and Will Sasso (MADtv ).

Aug 21: Fall Schedule Announced!

Aug 3: 2N Alums do a show
Second Nature alumni Jacqueline, Clay, Tom, Justin, and Jacob are performing their inaugural show with their group, FIASCO! at TNT, a UCB offshoot night located at the Sierra Stage. The free show is this Tuesday, August 5th, FIASCO! is scheduled to perform at 9pm.

Jul 20: Second Nature Announces Special Guests for SF Improv Fest
Second Nature has announced its lineup of special guest for the San Francisco Improv Festival. Joining the group will be three San Francisco based writers: Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket), Andrew Leland (managing editor of “The Believer”) and Midori (prominent human sexuality expert, author and columnist). All shows will be at 8pm July 24-26

Jun 2: 2n Invited to San Francisco Improv Festival!
Second Nature has been invited to perform three shows from July 24-26 at the 5th Annual San Francisco Improv Festival. Of the 20 troupes invited to the festival, we’re proud to be the only college troupe involved. We’ll be doing Armandos with special Bay Area Guest Monologists.

Jun 1: 2n at Orientation!
Second Nature has been invited to perform during the new student orientation social. The weekly shows will take place at 10:30pm in Argue Plaza (near Alumni house). We’ll be inviting friends to come perform with us, so check it out, you might catch us with a special guest.
