Fracas! V dates announced
The Fifth Annual Fracas! Improv Festival, hosted by Second Nature, will take place April 17-19, 2008.
Second Nature founded Fracas! in 2003 as the first purely collegiate improv festival in the country. Unlike other improv festivals, Fracas! centers around the experience of the college improviser. Only college troupes are permitted to perform in the three-day festival, where they also participate in professional workshops with some of the best improvisers in the country.
Last year’s Fracas! was sponsored by The Onion, and more than 150 participants from all over the country. Discussion panels were held with top members of The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre, The Groundlings, ImprovOlympic, and ComedySportz, as well as professionals from The Office, MADtv, Thank God You’re Here and more.
